Duration and rates
The duration of a physiotherapy, manual therapy, sport OMT, or rehabilitation therapy session is always between 35 and 45 minutes.
An initial treatment or intake session lasts about 10 minutes longer.
What happens during an intake?
A file is created in which your relevant medical history will be recorded, followed by a physical examination to assess your complaints. The intake is also used to rule out any risks related to manipulation techniques.
The costs for an intake session are € 25,- and will be added on top of the costs of the treatment. For any further sessions, the intake costs will not apply.

Rates 2026
The following rates are valid for 2026 and apply per individual session.
Home visits within the Estepona, San Pedro, Marbella, Manilva, Casares municipalities (if available): the cost of one of the above treatments, plus €25 travel fee per session.

Payment
After each treatment, payment must be made by bank / credit card or in cash, unless otherwise agreed with Costa Physio.
Seguridad Social
Costa Physio is a private physiotherapy clinic, and therefore the treatments given by Peter Van der Linden are not covered by the Spanish Seguridad Social, even though you will receive an official invoice after each session.
If you prefer to stay within the public healthcare system, we recommend you to visit your local Centro de Salud to request a list of physiotherapists working for the state.
Foreign and Spanish private insurers
After each treatment, you will receive an official invoice that can be claimed with your international or (private) Spanish health insurance. Our experience shows that treatment costs are typically reimbursed at around 70% by private insurance providers, depending on your coverage package.
We highly recommend to contact your international or private Spanish insurance, before any treatment will take place, to confirm the exact amount or percentage of reimbursement, so that everything will be clear beforehand.
